Daily Hell, Hopefully Heaven

My prayers and heart goes out for the people who loss love ones yesterday in the attack on our embasy in Lybia. Now they are saying that it was a terriorist attack (duh). The Middle East is like popcorn popping bombs and attacks, I mean we never know what's going to explode next. My mom would always say that the Bible speaks of wars and rumors of wars being a sign of the end of the world. But, how long will it last? I think alot about how the good, hard working people in these places are able to deal with all the uncertainly they face each minute. How does a father protect his family, how does a mother protect her child in the mist of all the turmoil and death? I just cannot wrap my mind around living like this.

Do you ever wonder why we were chosen to be born here? Why others were born into wars? While our 4 yr. olds are swinging on swings, laughing at Sesame Street, and playing with legos, other toddlers see people get gunned down and walk around dead bodies. I can't phanton my granddaughters living like that. Even if it was my "NORM" I wonder if I could be strong enough to handle all the tragedy. Muslin or not, the everyday people that have endured wars, terrorists, and daily hell, I hope they someday find their heaven.

I thank my God daily for the blessings He has given me. Even with all my failings, I know I one day will find my heaven. When I do I maybe I'll be sharing it with people that have lived in hell.

Challenging day. I know "challenging" is relevant to each person and to each situation, but when it comes to driving in Atlanta, give me a break! Living outside of Atlanta, sometimes I find myself, let's say, directionally challenged. I have driven in large cities before, not an expert, but I can hold my own with being able to get to a given address. No where else do I know of where  you can travel 6 blocks and the road name change 3 times. Not too much exaggeration in that statement. If you're looking for a road to turn onto at an intersection, you better damn well read the sign on the left and read the sign on the right, because I guarantee the street running through the intersection  will have 2 names. Hell, the street you're traveling on may change names a time of two before you reach your destination. Really? And how many Peachtree streets does one city need? They are everywhere, North, South, East, and West

I only have myself to blame for my day. I mean I DID move here! Oh, I missed my appointment. Was on the correct street with the wrong name. On the positive side, I did treat myself with lunch at the Varsity!

justrippinaround

Middle aged lady here. Not knowledgeable about how to blog. Learning that the blog I think I've set up has a mind of its own, and it is as determined to kick my butt as I am to learn what the hell to do! So I've been justrippinaround like an illiterate computer user!
Friday the 13th HAS BEEN a Friday the 13th!!!
